The Heart Gallery is a national initiative designed to encourage the adoption of more than 435,000 children in foster care in the United States. Since its founding more than sixteen years ago, the organization has traveled the country as a photograph and audio exhibit to raise awareness of children in need of adoption.
Currently, the organization has more than eighty galleries across the country. Each gallery relies on photography to capture the dignity of children in need of permanent homes and attract potential adoptive families. The program receives help from volunteer photographers who dedicate their time to helping children find a home.
